GMM Garment Plc is an apparel making company based in Addis Ababa. The company has been established in 2004 by three Ethiopian women entrepreneurs with the aim of producing different types of cultural home garments used to home usage. Later, in 2014, the company has started producing Polo & T-shirts and different sport wears. Those end-products has been continued exporting to US and Europe markets with high demand. In the past few years, the factory has started producing dressing shirts with the aim of entering to the local market with export standard products. Currently the factory has more than 400 skilled workers comprising both local and expatriate working on full time. We are working to expand our factory, and this number will rise when the expansion project becomes fully implemented.
